This website has fantastic gardening advice. Just search for a plant and it will tell you how to grow it, what grows indoors, pest, solutions, trivia and much, much more. (x) And it even has an edible gardening section (x) plus an indoor section if you don’t have a garden (x)

🌲Forest witches guide🌳: Things not to eat in the forest

-Milky or discolored sap
-Spines, fine hairs, or thorns
-Beans, bulbs, or seeds inside pods
-Bitter or soapy taste
-Dill, carrot, parsnip, or parsley-like foliage
-“Almond” scent in the woody parts and —leaves
-Grain heads with pink, purplish, or black spurs
-Three-leaved growth pattern

Plants/witchy stuff you can find growing in the forest

Medicinal herbs: Ginseng, goldenseal, black cohosh, bloodroot, passionflower, and mayapple.
Mushrooms: Shiitake and oyster mushrooms.
Native ornamentals: Rhododendrons and dogwood.
Moss: Log or sheet moss
Fruit: Pawpaws, currants, elderberries, and lowbush blueberries.
Nuts: Black walnuts, hazelnuts, hickory nuts, and beechnuts.
Other food crops: Ramps (wild leeks), maple syrup, and honey.
Plants used for decorative purposes, dyes, and crafts: Galax, princess pine, white oak, pussy willow branches in the spring, holly, bittersweet, and bloodroot.
